Injectable Facial Fillers Information

Creating a younger-looking appearance has a variety of benefits, and injectable facial fillers can help you tighten up sagging skin or get the look you want in just one office visit. Through a non-invasive procedure, you can use injectable facial fillers for wrinkle treatment, lip augmentation, acne scar treatment, dark circles, scar removal, and cheek augmentation. Injectable Facial Fillers are otherwise known as lip injections, fat transfers, cheek injections, chin injections, eye injections, Hyaluronic Acid-Based Fillers, Collagen-Based Fillers, or Semi-Permanent Fillers.

Injectable facial fillers are a useful, non-invasive method of improving the overall appearance of the facial area. Through the use of injectable agents, our doctors can restore facial contour in areas prone to fine lines and wrinkles caused by the aging process. Radiesse, Juvederm, and Voluma are the three most common types of injectable fillers.

Radiesse

Radiesse is a wrinkle filler that is commonly used to help plump the skin back up. This product is injected through a small needle and placed underneath the skin in the desired area. Radiesse starts to work immediately by treating wrinkles, but the process also continues naturally for up to a year by stimulating your body’s natural collagen. Currently, the cost of Radiesse is $800 per 1.6cc.

Juvederm

Performed during one brief office visit, Juvederm is a collection of fillers made from hyaluronic acid. This delivers nutrients to the skin that helps it retain moisture and softness, creating a glowing and younger looking appearance. Juvederm is the perfect product for those looking to lift and contour cheeks, smooth lines and wrinkles, and plump their lips. Like Radiesse, Juvederm will cost about $650 per 1.6cc.

Voluma

Voluma is the first and only injectable facial filler that will correct age-related volume loss for up to two years. Depending on the treatment area, the product is typically injected subcutaneously or supreperiostally. The cost of Voluma is $800 per 1.0cc.

Vollure

Vollure is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur, lasting up to 18 months with optimal treatment.  The cost of Vollure is $800 per 1.0cc.

Volbella

Volbella adds volume to the lips and smooths vertical lip lines.  The cost of Volbella is $525 per 0.55cc.

Recovery

The recovery time for injectable facial fillers is minimal. In most cases, the procedure will be done quickly in the doctor’s office, and you can go about your normal routine as soon as you leave. If you do notice any swelling, pain, or other medical conditions, contact your doctor right away.
