Two to four treatments at eight to twelve week intervals is often needed to achieve maximum improvement. The final results are not expected for three to four months following the last treatment.
The duration of your laser treatment depends on the size of the area to be treated. . You may experience increased redness, swelling and the vessels treated may appear darker and more visible immediately after treatment. Over the next two to six weeks they will usually fade. The treated areas may show slight depression after laser treatment. This normally resolves within a few months.
In some rare cases side effects include discoloration of the skin. Post treatment skin care instructions must be followed.
