This treatment is especially effective for acne blemishes, and requires a minimum of four applications (although more may be necessary, depending on an individual’s reaction to the treatment).
Cortisone is another popular option, whether it is administered in an injection or as a topical cream, it can improve the appearance of a scar to the point where more drastic measures for removal are not required. In some cases, re-excision can also be effective — this involves re-opening the scar and allowing it to heal again. This technique is especially handy for jagged scars, as they can be made to look much cleaner after re-excision.
