About MemoryShape Breast Implants
Compared to other breast implants currently available, the MemoryShape breast implant features a silicone gel that has more cross-linking. This means that the bonds that link one silicone chain to another are more consistent and plentiful within the silicone gel inside the implants, providing a firmer, more cohesive form for optimum shape.
From a cosmetic standpoint, these particular implants provide more upper pole fullness that is often desired by women and is hard to find from other implants. They have been described as having the perfect balance of shape and feel, and the recent increase of FDA approvals for form-shape implants like MemoryShape speaks volumes about their safety.
The Implant Replacement Procedure
If you’re concerned about the safety measures regarding your current implant, or you’re due for a replacement and would like to make the switch to MemoryShape breast implants, this procedure is one you may wish to consider. The procedure itself could last anywhere from 1.5 hours to 2.5 hours and uses general anesthesia. It’s an outpatient procedure with temporary swelling, soreness, change in nipple sensation, and bruising as side effects. Everyday tasks may be continued immediately, but there should be no strong pushing, pulling, or repetitive upper body movements for up to three weeks post-procedure.
